Born and raised in Ukraine, Lana brings a wealth of global experience and a deep commitment to service. She holds a BA in Foreign Languages and Teaching from the National Linguistic University in Kyiv, as well as an MA in Higher Education Administration from Columbia University.

Throughout her career in Ukraine, Lana worked as an interpreter, translator, program coordinator, and office manager, contributing to a range of U.S.–Ukraine military and government collaboration initiatives. After moving to the United States, she devoted her time to raising her family and giving back through volunteer work, while staying closely connected to her loved ones and colleagues in Ukraine.

When the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began, Lana was driven to take action. Her search for ways to help led her to UCARE Inc., where she has been a dedicated volunteer for over three years—and plans to continue supporting the cause until Ukraine’s victory and beyond.
