Meet Maksym

About Me

My name is Maksym, I am 23 years old, originally from Trostyanets (Sumy region), and currently living in Kharkiv. I recently graduated with a degree in Telecommunications and Radio Engineering and am now exploring opportunities in the IT field. I am passionate about personal growth, tourism, kayaking, and nature.

Journey & Motivation

Growing up, I lacked guidance and clear role models, which made it difficult to define my path. Everything changed when I became involved with the Children’s Friends Charity Foundation, supported by UCARE, Inc. Through their programs, I met motivated individuals, gained new perspectives, and found inspiration to pursue my goals.

Key Experiences

  • Participant in the “Scholarship” program seminars, where I developed knowledge and built meaningful connections

  • Active participant and later group leader in the “Cossack Paths” hiking program (2018–2021)

  • Attended and later volunteered at summer camps in the Carpathian Mountains

  • Gained leadership, teamwork, and communication skills through youth programs

Impact

Thanks to the support of UCARE, Inc. and the Children’s Friends Foundation, I became more confident, goal-oriented, and resilient. I learned to manage stress, communicate effectively, and surround myself with motivating people.

Vision

My dream is to build a stable future where I and my loved ones feel secure. I am committed to continuous learning, self-development, and discovering new opportunities—especially in IT.

Belief

I believe charitable organizations do more than provide material support—they shape values, open new paths, and empower individuals to grow and succeed.
