This past August, the Detroit News published two articles about our display at the Sunflower Festival In Warren, MI. The articles were printed in the local sections of the Warren and Troy newspapers.

In the Sunday, November 6, 2005 issue of the Ukrainian Weekly, "Hearts for Art" given a full page and a half of coverage. Two articles were printed.
The first was about the mission to Ukraine, a joint effort between members of UCARE, Inc. and the Blahodiyniy Fond (Benevolent Fund) Pyyateli Ditey (Help Us Help the Children--Ukraine). A detailed description of the program and participants was given. The article was written by our own Daria Dedoriv.
The Ukrainian Weekly does not open its archives to the public until a year has passed, so we have posted the text and photos as they appeared in the article here on our site. This article is located on the main "Hearts for Art" page.

The second article describes our traveling show of children's art. It includes quotes from Ukrainian First Lady Kateryna Yushchenko, who was one of the first to view the exhibits.
The article can be viewed in two forms: reprinted, with a scanned photo of Mrs. Yushchenko, or a scanned copy of the entire article.
